I just bought Star newspaper, when I was on my way to buy my lunch. ehem.

This article is not mentioning about any top students, but it was a letter to STAR from a participant whom attended a seminar named 'Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards' in KL.

He wrote (in the letter), he met a no. of young & bright top achievers who shared some secrets to their success.

1. Top students brook no intrusion on study time. 
2. Once the books are opened, or the computer is booted up, phone calls go unanswered, TV shows unwatched and snacks ignored!
3. Study is a business and it comes before recreation. 
4. Study times were strictly a matter of personal reference. 
5. Some worked late at night when the house is quiet while others got up early.
6. Others studied as soon they came home from school when the work was fresh in their minds.
7. The need of consistency.
8. Took notes while reading the text assignments.

 p/s: A good/ great/ brilliant teacher can open the door, but you still need to walk through.

Hebat macam mana pun cikgu itu, tapi kalau anak murid ada hati nak melalui pintu tersebut, maka dapatlah masuk. Kalau tak, tunggu Doraemon letak pintu. Tapi Doraemon nak bagi Nobita je.

Kalau nak diikutkan, satu ciri yang disebut dekat atas tu memang tak ada dengan aku.
Eh, bukak laptop mahu kena google google okay!
Kalau tak dapat internet bagai, mahu Korea Korea dulu. Feeling feeling pergi Jeju ISland ke, Nami ke.

Study is a business? Yeah, right. Aku pergi tengok wayang dulu, konon-konon balik karang study lah.
Stress sangatlah tu konon?

Study malam?
Kalau aku tak memekak, roommate aku yang memekak.
Dia bawak radio okay datang UIA.
Bukan radio handphone okay. Radio. Radio. Faham tak, radio?

Dah nama aku nak tidur awal bangkit awal takde.
Dahlah tidur sama lewat. Bangun sama lewat. -__-'

Rindu betul masa dekat matriks, boleh bangun pukul 5 pagi. Terkebil-kebil buat apa entah.

Belajar sejurus pulang ke rumah? Tak ada dalam diari aku.
Tidur sejurus pulang ke kelas memang ada. Sebab tu aku jarang balik bilik.
Naluri hati memang betul. :D

Need of consistency tu jarang ada.

Dalam Islam, nama dia Istiqamah. Cuba bagitahu aku, ramai mana boleh istiqamah dalam semua perbuatan baik mahupun soleh.
Ada, tapi jarang. Sebab susah.

Dan itu semua kerja syaitan.

Syaitan betul kau ni.
